Those of Wardmaster to the Government Civil Medical Department, his services may be utilised in any branch of the Department, he must have had previous Hospital training, a Royal Army Medical Corps man preferred.

2. Salary and emoluments, and whether secured by permanent law.

Salary: £110 a year rising by annual increments of £25, to £130.

3. Other circumstances affecting the value of the office.

Must be a single man under 30 years of age, will be provided with furnished quarters for a single man and free uniform also with a second-class passage out to the Colony and a passage back to England at the end of the three years. If the Government find it necessary and the candidate is desirous of continuing in the Service he will be permitted to continue therein subject to the usual regulations applicable to the Hongkong Civil Service.

4. Nature, number, and amount of securities required, and mode of giving them.

5. Whether any, and if any, what provision is made from this country or elsewhere, of the persons sent out to fill the office.
